This ladies' association grew to 66 members at the end of 2022
Some of the members are new golfers, while others are ladies who no longer want to play 18 holes due to injuries etc., or ladies who are just returning to golf. You will find that they are learning many aspects of golf, they are very compatible and are there mainly just to play golf and have fun.
Their mission is to learn how to play golf by having clinics once a week, a mentor that helps with rules/regulations, gaining experience, but mainly to make new friends and have fun!
The nominal dues covers prizes for different events on the course, a yearly book with scheduled tournament dates, member information, special luncheons throughout the year, and golf definitions.
The Nine Hole Ladies meet officially on every Thursdays for a 10:00 a.m. shotgun tee time during the season, which is from October to May. Many of the ladies stay for lunch after the nine holes, which is a great way to meet and get to know each other.
In season, nine holers are greeted at 9:30 am with a free clinic from the PGA professional staff prior to their tee time.
During the summer months they tee off at 9:30 a.m without a clinic.
Weekly prizes of Pro Shop credit are awarded, and at the end of the fiscal year in February prizes are awarded for ringers, birdies and most improved.
